Clear IP address / Name in Vi Client

July 30th, 2010 1 comment

We have a huge network with lots of ESX server and VC server. Over a period of time there is big drop down for the ESX server OR VC server IP address or dns name.
To remove this big drop down we have to edit the registry to make things look better. You can delete all the entries of IP Address/Host name of all those servers that you are not going to connect.

To clear this please access
My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VMware\VMware Infrastructure Client\Preferences and clear all the RecentConnections.
